Massachusetts Department of Social Services Dougherty Management Associates, Inc., developed a plan and RFP for the procurement of a Services Management Organization (SMO) in the Commonworks program. The SMO oversees a set of six regional provider networks for residential treatment of DSS adolescents. Commonworks is the first statewide managed care effort for child welfare services and the SMO procurement is one of the country's first examples of a pure Administrative Services Organization. Outcome: Implemented the RFP and advised on a successful procurement. |
