DMA has prepared a
baseline and follow-up reports for the first two years post-acquisition
on access to care for the general population and for vulnerable
populations at Saint Vincent Hospital. The reports compare access to
care before and after the hospital's conversion from a nonprofit to a
for-profit organization, providing independent information to the
Attorney General and community leaders on the extent to which the
hospital has maintained its commitment to free care and other community
benefits.
Outcomes:
The baseline, Year One and Year Two reports have been issued
and the Year Three report is in preparation.
